Kisaragi Station - The Train That Won’t Stop and the Station That Doesn’t Exist
The name was Kisaragi Station.
It’s known as an urban legend that began with a real‑time post on Japan’s 2ch forum in 2004.
The poster used the name Hasumi and wrote that the train she always took wasn’t stopping at any stations.
That day, it was the same train as usual.
Work had ended late, so there were barely any people in the car.
At first, I was just looking at my phone without thinking.
But something felt wrong.
The train wasn’t stopping.
It didn’t just pass one or two stations.
It kept going.
Outside the window, everything grew darker, and the announcements weren’t coming out properly.
At first, I thought I had dozed off and missed my stop.
So I checked the route map.
There was no way this line could run this long without stopping.
I walked to the next car.
There were a few people, but all of them were asleep.
Even when I tried waking them, they didn’t respond.
I tried going toward the driver’s cabin, but the door wouldn’t open.
So I posted on the message board with my phone.
“The train isn’t stopping.”
Comments started coming in.
Some people told me to stop joking.
Others said I needed to get off immediately.
Then the train stopped.
I saw the station name.
きさらぎ駅
Kisaragi Station.
A name I had never seen
